The Arcadia is a symmetrical Modern Farm Style home featured in the 2018 Clark County Parade of Homes. The Parade was hosted in the “The Parklands,” on the Camas Meadows golf course. This beautiful home’s exterior strikes a balance between traditional farm and modern farm style relying heavily on a symmetrical bias on its exterior. Created as an open entertaining design, it offers both outdoor and indoor gathering spaces. The Arcadia offers an open living design with a utility room for arts and crafts, and expressed in individual working spaces – a room for almost any kind of hands on artistic expression. One of our favorite spaces resides between the upstairs recreation loft and the guest suite – the second-floor pool balcony.

Camas greets Parade of Homes with open arms

The last time a Camas development was featured during the Parade of Homes was in 2002, when 12 houses were part of the event at Holly Hills Estates on Prune Hill. "The Arcadia," by Axiom Homes, designed to look like a traditional farmhouse, has a great kitchen for gathering. The 4,827-square-foot home also has a lounge and craft and theater rooms.

While the interior does play off of the industrial look the exterior is a angular and modern. The angular nature of the garage, due to the shape of the lot, provided opportunity for a floating roof over the entry way, and allowed for a hidden entry as the owners desired. The brick stairway wall hearkens to the kitchen while hiding a craft room with rolling island that opens to the ambient light of the gathering room. The walk out basement provides two more suites and a walk out design created with a modern Accessory Dwelling Unit in mind.
