Gecho Construction
The outdoor living area at "The Madison," by Generation Homes Northwest, features an in-ground pool and hot tub. It was one of 10 Camas homes featured in the 2018 NW Natural Parade of Homes. This home was built for an active family and the open design is meant to create flow and support a busy routine. Cascade West Development designed this home with an L-shaped footprint, large open-concept rooms, and plenty of spaces to gather or to escape for some alone time.

One of our favorite features is the modern automated screened-porch providing year-round comfort in the heated outdoor space with TV, dining and grilling areas. Arcadia means “an idea of life in the countryside that is believed to be perfect”. This dreamy modern farm home lives up to its name with its traditional country touches like shiplap walls, a spacious kitchen, and double-hung windows. Adding to its perfection, The Arcadia boasts an inspiring craft room and a sublime outdoor living space complete with swimming pool and outdoor kitchen. The homes range in size from 3,000 to 5,000 square feet, and are located east of Camas Meadows Golf Club, which is located at 4105 NW Camas Meadows Drive, Camas. The home in the featured image is called “The Maldivian,” which was constructed by Gecho Homes, known for their modern, contemporary designs.
Parade of Homes to kick off in Camas
You can save $2 off the regular $12 cost of admission by buying tickets online. By Doriot Construction features a towering ceiling above the living room, with a massive wagon wheel-style chandelier and a rock fireplace as the centerpiece. One of the properties in the NW Natural Clark County Parade of Homes -- a 4,200-square-foot, four-bedroom home, "The Maldivian," by Gecho Homes -- is available to purchase. The showcase of 10 homes, each worth at least $1 million, in The Parklands at Camas Meadows kicks off Friday, Sept. 7, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 23. While the interior does play off of the industrial look the exterior is a angular and modern. The angular nature of the garage, due to the shape of the lot, provided opportunity for a floating roof over the entry way, and allowed for a hidden entry as the owners desired. The brick stairway wall hearkens to the kitchen while hiding a craft room with rolling island that opens to the ambient light of the gathering room. The walk out basement provides two more suites and a walk out design created with a modern Accessory Dwelling Unit in mind.
Eagle Peak
Seven builders will make 10 luxury homes open to the public for the parade Sept. 7 through 23. At what is called The Parklands at Camas Meadows, more than 40 custom homes and a handful of commercial buildings are planned. The Parade of Homes is located in The Parklands at Camas Meadows, and is an annual event hosted by the Building Industry Association of Clark County. Visitors will get to see the latest in architecture, design, home decor, remodeling, landscaping, and more.
Jason, a real estate agent, was interested in the designs of the homes and the products used, while Awna said she enjoyed seeing the decor, as well as the design. Awna and Jason Underwood, of Camas, have previously attended two NW Parade of Homes events, and were excited to see this year’s houses in their hometown. Awna said she liked that some of the homes provided one-story accessibility.

The last time a Camas development was featured during the Parade of Homes was in 2002, when 12 houses were part of the event at Holly Hills Estates on Prune Hill. "The Arcadia," by Axiom Homes, designed to look like a traditional farmhouse, has a great kitchen for gathering. The 4,827-square-foot home also has a lounge and craft and theater rooms.
Come meet the builder, Dean Nelson, to get your questions answered about the custom home building process and enjoy a treat while you tour this beautiful custom home. Come visit our brand new model at Ravinia from 1-3pm and see the gourmet kitchen in action as the founder of Sugarspoon Desserts bakes and decorates cake pops. Enjoy your sweet treats as you explore this new model with stunning finishes, polished design and home automation throughout.
The master suite has a private laundry, his and hers closets and a beautiful and unique access to the pool. The children’s bedrooms are twin suites with walk in closets, and window niches fitted with private seating. Enjoy some fine meats and cheeses, refreshments and treats while you tour our new homes featuring home automation.

Tracy Doriot, a Washington-based builder of custom homes, commended the staff for being prompt and accommodating to developers. Still, homes are not being built as fast as they were before the recession, said Phil Bourquin, community development director. The Black Pearl is a single-story home that draws design inspiration from the West Indies. Large windows and tall ceilings are responsible for the home’s open, spacious look and feel. Usable space expands beyond the home with a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit for guests and an outdoor entertaining area complete with a beverage bar and BBQ.
The Maker, also known as the “Paper Maker,” after Camas High School mascot, was featured in the 2018 Clark County Parade of Homes. The owners were empty nesters wanting to be able focus on the thing they love. The Maker found balance between iron pipes, concrete and steel beams, with a little more traditional look and feel. The Master Suite is located near the entry and offers a large walk in closet-dressing room, a luxurious walk-in shower with gorgeous tiled drying areas.
If you weren’t able to make it to the event this year, or just want to relive the memories, we’ve got you covered with photos and featured lighting. Highlighted show homes were built locally by Axiom Luxury Homes, Cascade West Development, Gecho Construction, Generation Homes Northwest, and Soaring Eagle Homes. The Northwest Natural Parade of Homes is an annual event that draws visitors from all over the Pacific Northwest. This year, ten gorgeous homes were built for a brand new subdivision, The Parklands at Camas Meadows, in Southwest Washington.
